The Kardin breed is a cousin of the Unicorn but at the same time very different. Not all Kardins can wield magic, in fact at the age of six months, they receive a mark telling others of their ability.
Marks:
Sword=Warrior - Advantage in fights, takes less damage.
Star=Sorcerer - Able to use magic, only born into.
Cross=Healer - Heals others and themselves.
Mask=Rouge - Able to dodge an attack, leave a herd at will, and travel between kingdoms without being attacked, only born into.
Crown=Royalty - Used above another mark, only born or mated into.(not allowed on a starter!)
